Scholarship Description
Rome Scholarships are offered for research on the archaeology, art history, history, society and culture of Italy, from prehistory to the modern period. The Scholarship offers board and lodging at the BSR for 9 months (October 2010–June 2011); a research and travel grant equivalent to £444/month (Holders of an AHRC studentship or similar award receive £100 in total.) Applicants must be British or Commonwealth citizens; or must be studying at postgraduate level in a Higher Education Institution in the UK. Further details can be found on their website.
